Graduate Nuclear Consultant
Alton/Basingstoke


RPS has been a leading provider of specialist safety and risk consultancy services to the UK nuclear sector (civil and defence) for over 30 years.

Our principal area of expertise is in support of nuclear safety case development and preparation. We support the whole plant or project lifecycle from design and construction, through operations and decommissioning.

RPS Alton office have a requirement for a Graduate Nuclear Consultant to join the well-established risk management division

This role will provide you with the opportunity to join a well-established team within a risk management consultancy. You will be working predominantly in the Nuclear and Defence sectors, receiving an excellent on the job training programme and the support needed to progress and develop towards gaining chartered status. This opportunity will see you being given responsibilities from day on a variety of work within the
following core areas:
» Hazard identification
» Qualitative and quantitative risk assessment
» Safety case development
» Consequence analysis
» Safety management systems
» Frequency analysis
» Safety culture
» ARM analysis
» Individual, group and organisational behaviour and performance
» Functional safety

Skills & Qualifications required for this role are:
• Degree qualified within Physics or Engineering
• A Levels within Maths & Physics
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Abatable and for learning coupled with a can-do attitude
