GLP Study Director

Job Title GLP Study Director (lab-phase)

Reporting to: Operational Director

The analytical business delivers high quality laboratory phase services to the Agrochemical industry using state of the art instrumentation such as LC MS/MS and GC MS/MS. RPS prides itself on the high level of its customer care and the quality of its services.

Job Overview:

You will be responsible for the implementation of a new GLP lab-phase service. The role will see you working closely with the Operational Director, Quality Manager, Laboratory Manager and other Business Leaders to ensure the delivery of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the development of Standard Operating Procedures for the facility
• Ensuring study compliance in line with OECD GLP principles
• Providing single point study control
• Assist during MHRA inspection
• Conducting and/or supervising studies/analyses according to study plans and SOPs and in compliance with GLP.
• Training and providing guidance to team members and peers in departmental procedures and contribute to development of technical expertise in others.

Experience/Skills Required:

• Experience in conducting lab phase residue studies at Study Director level
• Considerable experience of GLP Study Director for regulatory (GLP) studies.
• Experience in directing studies in accordance with Study Plan, SOPs and regulatory standards (GLP/cGMP).
• An extensive amount of practical experience in developing and validating analytical methods.
• Strong all-round level of IT literacy
• Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise at all levels and with customer
• Pro-active, highly organised and able to work calmly in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Objective and logical analytical and reasoning skills
• Proven customer management skills
• Commercial and business awareness
