Senior Consultant (Fire and Health & Safety)

Job Title: Senior Consultant (Fire and Health & Safety)
Location: UK wide travel

Job Profile:

To undertake fire risk assessments and health & safety risk assessments and audits for commercial, industrial, retail and residential clients

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of fire risk assessments and health and safety risk assessments in accordance with legislative requirements
• Provide fire safety advice and able to prepare fire strategy reports for clients
• Preparation of gap analysis reports and subsequent development of health and safety and fire safety management systems
• Delivery of fire awareness /fire marshal and a variety of in house health & safety training courses
• Development of emergency plans and evacuation plans (including specific tenant plans)
• Client Project Management
• Identify and define solutions to fire, health and safety related problems
• Ensure that objectives and milestones set by the client are achieved in accordance with agreed key performance indicators and service level agreements

Experience required
• Background in fire safety and health & safety for a variety of sectors including industrial, commercial, residential etc
• Project and team management
• Proven record of being able to deliver tool box talks on site safety


Qualifications/Education required
• Recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification or higher
• Health and Safety Qualification (diploma level or equivalent)
• CMIOSH or equivalent or working towards
• Demonstrable annual CPD record
• OSHCR Registration desirable
• Knowledge of CDM requirements
