Chicago (USA)

• Conduct a variety of field samplings – soil, groundwater, aquifer, etc.
• Prepare summary tables of groundwater elevation data and laboratory analytical data
• Prepare a variety of project progress and quality control reports, including soil boring logs, maps & figures and well construction reports
• Perform data reduction & analysis
• Provide support and input to management team during work plan and report preparation phases
• Assists with preparation of documents for annual audits.
• Conducts activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Works in a safe manner at all times and reports all health & safety incidents and concerns, including near misses, accidents, and injuries.
• Pursues continuous professional development and maintains a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
• Good knowledge of all aspects of environmental sampling methods, work plan preparation, budgeting, and implementation & project management
• Proven ability to perform/direct sampling investigation, remediation or building demolition
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects
• Strong knowledge of federal & state environmental regulations
• Teamwork skills, including demonstrated success promoting a collaborative and productive work environment for all team members.
• 20-40% travel
• BA/BS required in Environmental Science, Geology & Engineering
• 3-8 years’ experience in environmental consulting
• PE( Professional Engineer) preferred
• Strong oral & written English communication skills
