Systems Administrator - Bradford

Role Description:

A Systems Administrator is required to join a project team undertaking asset replacement, maintenance and optimisation on our client’s clean water distribution network. The role is office based and situated at the client’s headquarters in Bradford.
Role Responsibilities: Main responsibilities will include but is not limited to;
• Collaborative working within the project team, to deliver asset maintenance.
• Assistance to the Project Manager with project needs and requirements.
• Provide office based assistance and support to field staff.
• Preparation and schedule of proactive workloads to the field staff.
• Collate field data and prepare asset survey and service reports.
• Configuration of corporate software systems.
• Contribute to project output targets and maintain quality of work.
• Maintain technical quality ensuring assets meet client needs and specification.
• Follow and embrace the corporate health and safety, environmental and quality standards of the project team and the client.
• Promote good working practices.
• Any additional duties as and when required.

Skills & Knowledge:
• Computer literate - Microsoft Office and MS Excel is essential.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Excellent client service focus.
• Have an organised work ethic and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to make decisions and to prioritise workloads
• Basic knowledge GIS Systems a preference.

Terms & Conditions:
Fixed contract through to March 31st 2019 initially a 3-month probationary period starting at the “national living wage salary” of £17,576. A 40-hour working week with 20 days annual leave. A company pension is available and there is an option of share incentive scheme.
