Our Water business employs around 1000 staff and has been providing services to the water industry since 1993. Working on all of the UK water and sewerage companies and most of the water only companies, our services include water networks management; leakage consultancy; waste water network management; software solutions; utility, land and building surveying; design; water resources and efficiency advice; and flood risk and water environment consultancy.

We are looking for individuals to join our award winning leakage detection team supporting Affinity water in achieving their challenging leakage management objectives.

As a Logging Technician you will play a key role in supporting our Leakage team to ensure they receive the data they need to identify areas of leakage. You will manage your own workload which will involve retrieving, downloading and interpreting the data received from acoustic noise loggers. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to work occasional night work.

You should possess a flexible ‘can do’ attitude along with the following attributes:
• Health and Safety awareness with the ability to understand and communicate safe working instructions
• Computer literate
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels inclusive of customers and external contractors
• Excellent time management with ability to manage own workload
• Ability to interpret data and communicate accordingly.

You should also ideally possess the following certification; although training will be available for the right candidates:
• NRWSA Operative Unit 2
• EUSR – Water Hygiene
• Full UK Driving Licence.
