Communications Strategist
Houston (USA)


Collaborate with our marketing director and senior leadership to establish our communications program’s objectives and key metrics

Manage the communications program’s overall calendar and component elements, including developing messages, tactics, schedules, and written content for
- External communications, social media channels, and website
- Internal communications
- Industry award submittals and responses to industry surveys

Write and edit copy for brochures, recruiting materials, ads, and tradeshow banners

Monitor and report key metrics

Coordinate special events

Requirements;

A joy in creating credible messaging and compelling stories to help us connect our purpose with our people, our clients, and our work

An ability to collaborate with our talented design team and within our established standards to elevate our brand identity

Writing talent, editing skills, meticulous proofreading, and the love of a clear, engaging sentence

The inquisitiveness and ingenuity to recognize and develop appealing stories about our projects and staff

Superior planning, organization, management, and attention to detail to coordinate, prioritize, and execute concurrent projects

Self-directed individual who enjoys a robust team environment

7+ years’ experience in communications, journalism, or public relations; agency background a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Creative Writing, or Journalism, or equivalent experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and social media management tools, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, and basic html editing skills
