Position: Drilling Completions Specialist

Location: Calgary

Tasks:
• Onshore wells, including critical sour, HPHT, and thermal well operations;
• Offshore wells, including deepwater, sub-salt, subsea and dry tree developments;
• Completion design, including perforation, stimulation, sand control, and smart well technology;
• Artificial lift, including gas lift and ESP’s;
• Well design, including casing and tubing weight and grade specification, connection and metallurgical requirements; and
• Offshore well test planning and supervision
• Well Performance and Flow Assurance

Qualifications:
• APEGGA membership is an asset
• a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience
• Experience in one or more of the above areas
• Some travel required
• Wellcat Petroleum Expert or Stimplan Software Experience is an asset.

Personal Traits:
Role will involve a combination of hands-on technical work, project management and mentoring of more junior staff. Able to work with clients from the problem and work scope definition stages, through project execution to final reporting/presentation of results.
