RPS Bowman Bishaw Gorham is the pre-eminent environmental consulting company in Western Australia and provides specialist environmental management services to resource development, industry and government.

Due to continuing growth, an opportunity now exists for ambitious and motivated scientists, with relevant environmental consulting experience to join our company.

Managing Scientist, Contaminated Land and Water
· at least 5 years relevant professional experience;
· experience in project management and document preparation;
· knowledge of the forthcoming Contaminated Sites Act and experience in the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites is essential;
· knowledge and experience in either or all of the following disciplines is highly desirable:
- groundwater hydrology and/or hydrogeology,
- acid sulfate soils assessment and management;
- assessment and management of petroleum hydrocarbons,
- human health and/or environmental risk assessment.

Managing Scientist, Land Development
· at least 5 years relevant professional experience;
· experience in project management and document preparation;
· knowledge of environmental issues associated with the land development industry is highly desirable;
· demonstrable understanding or experience in working with environmental legislation and negotiation with relevant government departments is valued.

Experienced Scientist, Marine and Petroleum
· at least 2 years relevant consulting experience;
· experience in environmental assessment and approval processes including document preparation;
· knowledge of tropical marine ecology and environmental issues associated with the oil and gas industry is highly desirable;
· demonstrable understanding or experience in working with WA environmental legislation and relevant government departments will be valued.
