We are recruiting somebody at a senior level based in our London office (near London Bridge) with a background in building services engineering and who understands and can advise our clients on the legislation and the challenges posed by the carbon reduction commitment (CRC), climate change and renewable energy. This is a new post so there are enormous opportunities to develop the role and grow the team. You will manage an existing team delivering energy and sustainability consultancy, including areas such as CRC, energy efficiency in the built environment, climate change, Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and advising clients on strategies to reduce energy usage. You will also deliver seminars and training programmes for clients and staff. You will have over ten years experience gained in the engineering/energy sector, including experience of building and developing teams and business lines. RPS is working closely with, amongst others, the Carbon Trust to help UK businesses meet their targets for carbon reduction, to produce low-carbon or zero-carbon new developments and to achieve carbon reductions in refurbishments. Our client base includes local authorities and central government, developers and planners, regional development agencies and large multi-site organisations.
