Seismic Operations - Calgary

RPS Energy provides Technical, Commercial and Project Management services to the energy sector. Our energy business operates worldwide, with projects being managed from regional offices in Canada, the UK, USA, Singapore, Russia, Australia and Malaysia.
Available Positions:
• Seismic Project Management & QC,
• Seismic Field Operations Supervisor & QC
• Seismic & Drilling OHSE Field Advisor
• Seismic & Drilling HSE QC, Audits and Advice
• Seismic Processing Project Management & QC
Reports to: Vice President, Seismic Operations (Land or Marine)
Have you managed complex 3D Land, TZ and Marine seismic data acquisition projects? RPS is hiring consultants who can support client operations both within Canada and internationally.
Main Responsibilities include some or all of the following:
• Train and mentor other personnel in all safety and operational aspects of their positions
• Conducts inspections on all field equipment to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards and operational integrity
• Responds to client and corporate office requests
• Ensures all personnel have all necessary training, certifications and PPE’s
• Conducts accident and incident investigations
Skills:
• The successful candidates will have the following minimum requirements:
• Minimum 10 -20 years seismic operations experience,
• Operations & project management “command” experience for multinational and national oil and gas corporations
• Knowledge of International (IAGC, OGP) guidelines, standards and management systems
• Knowledge of Canadian best practices (CAGC) and regulations preferred
• Ability to move and work within Canada and internationally
• Foreign language skills will support international mobility (Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic)
• Must be eligible to live and work in Canada for Canadian Operations
