We are recruiting a Health & Safety/Fire Safety Consultant to be based in our London office near London Bridge. You will work on clients’ premises mainly in the south east and with some UK wide and international work. You must have skills, experience and qualifications in the following areas:

Fire Safety
• Practical experience of Fire Risk Assessment with Fire Brigade and /or evidence of FRA with consultancy together with ability to demonstrate competence
• Member of IFE (Grad IFE preferred)
• Knowledge of current and forthcoming legislation
• Registered Fire Assessor (preferred)
• Experience of fire engineering consultancy within a wide range of buildings
• Ability to identify and define commercially aware solutions to fire engineering related problems
• Chartered Engineering status with the IFE - CEng MIFireE preferred

Health and Safety
• Membership of IOSH (minimum Tech IOSH - Grad IOSH preferred)
• Evidence of practical experience of Health &Safety consultancy with a varied client base
• Knowledge of current and forthcoming legislation
• Knowledge/Training in BS OHSAS 18001
• Experience of Accident/Incident investigation


General

• Good client liaison skills
• Ability to negotiate with enforcement authorities
• Ability to develop and deliver training to clients
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Computer literate – Word/Excel/Powerpoint
• Good written report writing skills
