We are looking for an experienced ecologist to fill a senior position within our consultancy team. You should offer us:

 Experience in the management of ornithological surveys, analysis and reporting
 Experience in the management of staff undertaking ornithology projects
 Knowledge of ornithological issues relating to intertidal waterfowl ecology
 Experience of environmental impact assessment and specifically, the assessment of impacts on birds and their habitats
 Competency in the identification of British bird species, by sight and sound and a track-record of surveys using standard methodologies
 A working knowledge of key environmental legislation and policy (e.g. Birds/Habitats Directive, PPS9)
 A relevant degree in the natural sciences
 Knowledge of statistical analysis, mapping and modelling techniques is an advantage

A driving license is essential
