Role: Seismic Processing QC required with PSDM Experience

Contract position
Location: Worldwide

Main Responsibilities

• Project Manage/Supervisor
• QC PSDM work
• Attend meetings on a technical basis
• Produce high quality processing reports

Experience Required
Candidate Requirements:

• Degree level education essential, Msc advantageous
• Processing geophysicist with over 10years experience
• Extensive experience in the processing and interpretation of Pre-Stack Depth Migrated (PSDM) seismic data
• Knowledge and experience of PSDM sub-salt processing
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of depth conversion and the range of velocity modelling and depth conversion techniques
• Knowledge of AVO, synthetic, VSP and other modelling techniques
• Competent user of any of the following software:-
• ProMAX, VISTA, FOCUS & GEODEPTH, OMEGA, GEO VECTURE/CLUSTER &/or TANGO software.
• Interpretation software/practises – PC based system such as Kingdom/Petrel
• Excellent communication skills
• Organisational skills
