RPS Energy is a multi-disciplinary consultancy, providing Technical, Commercial and Project Management Support services in the fields of operations, geoscience, engineering and HS&E to the energy sector worldwide. RPS Energy services the oil and gas and renewables sectors from operating bases in the UK, Russia, USA, Canada, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.

RPS has been providing operational support and quality control services on seismic data acquisition projects for over 25 years. Our clients include independent operators, major oil companies, and many national oil and gas companies and government agencies. These services may be provided as a standalone exercise, or as part of an integrated project management capability incorporating Survey Design and Planning.


Role: Seismic QA/QC Geophysicist

Reports to: Operations Director
Location: Sakhalin Island Russian Federation

RPS Energy has a requirement for a Seismic QA/QC geophysicist to supervise a Transition Zone seismic survey on Sakhalin Island Russian Federation. Start date is approximately late July for 2 months.

Experience Required
• Background and qualifications in Seismic industry
• Minimum 10+ years experience of working as Client Representative on seismic vessels
• Proven track record of working within the Oil and Gas industry
• Excellent communications skills
• Excellent report writing skills
